Second Wave
I've completed the game and none of the second wave options unlocked. I asked 2K Greg (One of the community managers) and he said it doesn't exist. (See highlighted post here: http://www.shacknews.com/chatty?id=29025909#item_29025909 ) I'm going to remove it from the page, as it's misleading to have it on there. - Here's the official word. Apparently it was a planned feature that wasn't finished. Here's a link to the post: http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread.php?157581-Regarding-quot-Second-Wave-quot&p=2186236#post2186236 and a quote here in case it's ever removed: "The "Second Wave" settings that some people have found by digging in to the game files was a feature that the team was toying around with, but it was not ever finished by the time the game released. It’s something the dev team at Firaxis is still interested in going back to and working on, but at this point we don’t have any firm plans to share. " So there you have it. Sad, but not unexpected. - Should we add it to the mods page? With persuasion, you can get this menu to appear and some, if not all, of the options work.
