ADVENT Scout (LWOTC)
Back To Main Page | Back To Units Page
The Advent Scout is an advanced trooper variant focused as a flanker, boasting high mobility and is incredibly slippery to catch.
The Advent Scout is a more advanced trooper that is much more accurate and is very slippery boasting high mobility and defensive stats making it difficult to catch them. Their mobility makes them dangerous flankers being more able to catch our soldiers off guard while also being a very hard target due to their defensive stats in addition to Lone Wolf making them more accurate and harder to hit when they are on their own. Additionally, they have Shadowstep meaning they avoid all reaction attacks which further prevents locking them down in a position to prevent them from getting into our flanks. As a scout, they also have better detection than most other troopers which can make it difficult for our own scouts to scope the area without being caught.

Tips
- Like most flankable units, they will ideally try to find reasonable cover whenever flanked. This can be taken advantage of if you want to force enemies to move.
- Advent Scouts with their high defensive stats on top of Lone Wolf makes them a very hard target, both being hard to hit while also being difficult to deal great damage. The best way to deal with them is to either prioritize them first or disable them so that they aren't able to act against you. Disorientation can help but is not the best way to disable them due to their high innate aim and mobility that can shrug off the debuffs. Guaranteed damage is also a great way to deal with them as they will bypass their defensiveness.
- Shadowstep allows them to avoid reaction attacks making it hard to control them through the use of overwatch. While this allows them to avoid reaction attacks, Suppression will still fire against them but will deal no damage although any special effects that can be applied on shot such as with the use of venom rounds can still work. This can be a somewhat useful tool to control the Scout if there are few options.
