Drop Pod (Bureau)

Airdropped teleport system for the alien's invasion.

All their appearances are scripted, so once you know when and where they drop, you may be able to lay traps for these, such as moving explosive barrels and laying mines near where they will land-- neither of which will explode from the impact, amazingly. It is in your interest to destroy them, as some will continuously spawn unless you fully clear the area (or they are destroyed), as well as the XP they provide. There is a bit of a glitch with some, in that after killing the aliens they generate, some will become 'indestructible', especially if another pod drops in afterwards.
