Interceptor Transfer

I have never ever seen this request. Not even Long War Tech Buddy https://www.nexusmods.com/xcom/mods/570?tab=files mentions it. I really doubt it exists in LW 1.0Riw (talk) 18:22, 21 November 2021 (CET)

It definitely exists in the game files, whether it can be triggered is another thing. I was planning on going over the code that triggers it very carefully to see if it's force-disabled somehow. DjinnFor (talk) 19:50, 21 November 2021 (CET)
Also IIRC, Cyberdics Wrecks always offer some credit reward, and then scientists/engineers.
Nice catch, that's actually a bug in the code, it should offer one of the three randomly but adds cash, I just misread it. Doesn't offer scientists though, just engineers. As for Interceptor transfer, it definitely existed in Vanilla, but it appears it might be disabled? The game does a check to see if the Hangar is "unlocked" (a vanilla tutorial feature that LW mostly removes) but I think LW removes most of these checks and I don't think it ever properly unlocks the hangar. So yeah I've never seen it, but as far as I can tell the conditions for making it appear would be that requesting country needs to be outside the HQ, have a satellite, have 3 or less interceptors in its continental bay, and of course the Hangar needs to be unlocked. Importantly, if the game ever rolls a request that fails any checks it puts requests back on cooldown rather than rolling another one.
