The 40mm Auto Cannon Turret is a 40mm Auto Cannon variant designed for ground based vehicles. The 40mm's are commonly employed on Megapol Police Cars.
As with all the auto cannon variants, they function exceptionally well at dealing good damage to small to medium UFOs while dealing minimal colalteral damage when they miss. Megapol Police cruisers are very effective at neutralizing UFO shields with them.
