Tips

  • Like most flankable units, they will ideally try to find reasonable cover whenever flanked. This can be taken advantage of if you want to force enemies to move.
  • Advent Scouts with their high defensive stats on top of Lone Wolf makes them a very hard target, both being hard to hit while also being difficult to deal great damage. The best way to deal with them is to either prioritize them first or disable them so that they aren't able to act against you. Disorientation can help but is not the best way to disable them due to their high innate aim and mobility that can shrug off the debuffs. Guaranteed damage is also a great way to deal with them as they will bypass their defensiveness.
  • Shadowstep allows them to avoid reaction attacks making it hard to control them through the use of overwatch. While this allows them to avoid reaction attacks, Suppression will still fire against them but will deal no damage although any special effects that can be applied on shot such as with the use of venom rounds can still work. This can be a somewhat useful tool to control the Scout if there are few options.
