It is the second most powerful grenade in the game, other than the <a href=http://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php/High_Explosive>High Explosive</href> but it more than makes up for this lack of power in its much smaller size and weight, making heavy firepower the standard of all troopers instead of only a few soldiers carrying the high explosive. It is pretty much the best grenade in the game, and completely makes standard grenades useless.
