Alien Probe (Apocalypse)

The Alien Probe (UFO-1) is the unmanned basic ship of the Aliens in X-COM3. It is more of a nuisance than a real threat, as it is lightly armed with Small Disruptor Beam and does not transport troops or have any crew. It is very fragile and easily destroyed even early in the game, so salvaging one of these can be tricky. The Probe usually accompanies Alien Scout Ships on their raids. It disappears late in the game. Aside from itself, the Probe does not provide any research material, so capturing it is not a priority.
