Annette Durand is a unique French soldier of XCOM, recruited after completing the second of three Progeny missions. Her voice is not available to any other units, and she can only be partially customized and is the only soldier which isn't assigned a nickname.
Initially a French civilian, she is discovered by EXALT to have latent Psionic powers. She is rescued by XCOM operatives during an EXALT and Alien abductee transfer, proving to her XCOM is capable of stopping the alien menace and leads her to joining. She joins your forces as a random class unit ranked at Sergeant.
Although slightly more powerful then the average soldier and Psi gifted, Annette is expendable and can be killed in battle after recruitment. Due to her non-military background her spoken lines during tactical missions will show a certain uneasiness with combat situations.
After joining XCOM as a Sergeant, Annette will have the following stats:
- HP: ? (Equal to ? E/N/C/I)
- Defense: 0
- Will: ? (Equal to ?)
- Aim: ? (Equal to ?)
You will be able to customize her abilities as you see fit. However, she is guaranteed Psi gifted; so test her after you have finished testing your core soldiers, otherwise your chances will be dramatically reduced.
