Mythos preceded X-COM with Laser Squad and have recently produced Laser Squad Nemesis.

An Official Strategy Guide was written by Dave Ellis and is available on Amazon.

Backstory

The Gollop brothers RIPPED the story of X-COM STRAIGHT from today's HEADLINES! ... Of the National Enquirer, that is.
