As in the original invasion, Berserkers are variants on the Muton, amped up on drugs that makes them incredibly fast, strong and bloodthirsty. The Bloodlust ability has been changed so that instead of immediately moving, it grants the Berserker greatly increased movement speed. This means that if you attack a Berserker, make sure you can kill it in one turn ir it will almost certainly be able to melee one of your soldiers next turn unless you are extremely careful of positioning.

If a Berserker is not within charging distance of an enemy when enraged, it may attack its own allies instead.
