Overview
Within Mega-Primus' ever creeping forest of high rising structures littering the skyline, its primary mode of low cost travel involves the mass transit People Tube system that propels hapless travelers around the city at high speeds without requiring any vessels of conveyance. It's a free public service and you will not be restricted from accessing the people tubes if you happen to find yourself in Transtellar's black books.
For those less inclined to travel the old fashioned way, the grav road system allows for reasonable access around the city in more conventional low flying hovercars. Like the ancient mass-transit system of trains, these vehicles are only able to travel along the roads and can not go beyond them.
As with all transport vehicles in the city, road vehicles have built in auto pilots that allow navigation to anywhere in the city as long as there is a road. They also feature remote manual control overrides for owners of the vehicles to take control of the vehicle. Should the need ever arise, the manual control allows the remote owner to perform a variety of actions such as altering the acceleration, overtaking a slow vehicle, manually firing its on-board weapon systemsor even making a U-turn without the need of an intersection.
Military Vehicles
Blazer Turbo Bike : The Blazer Turbo Bikes is an unarmed single person transport. Its only means of expansion is a single small-engine upgrade. It is commonly used by civilian organizations for private or recreational use and is otherwise not suited to X-COM's needs. However, should X-COM fall into hard times and require a cheap means of transport that's faster than the people tubes, this is it.
Stormdog : The Stormdog is a basic road car that allows for seating of four agents and a rear mounted anti air gun turret. This can be changed with a ground launched missile array. Though it can mount weapons to combat aircraft and very small UFOs, it is better suited for transporting small squads or parts of a squad around the city in style.
Wolfhound APC : The Wolfhound is an armoured personnel carrier (APC) that mounts similar sized weapons as the Stormdog. It seats twice as many agents and offers two standard sized upgrade module slots that allow the APC's role to to be expanded. On purchase, the APC comes standard with a sticky cargo module that may need a few tries to remove. The APC is a cheap secondary or tertiary troop transport for getting an extra squad around the city during a multi-drop site terror alert. Because it is a road vehicle, it cannot transport squads to off-road sites such as crashed UFOs or parts of the city isolated because of road damage.
Griffon AFV : The Griffon is a pure combat vehicle. By default, it is issued with the Rumble Cannon, one of the most powerful conventional weapons X-COM can purchase. The cannon can be swapped with a long range ground launched missile launcher or an even longer range plasma cannon. Smaller weapon pods can be used if desired. The tank has an optional medium accuracy modification slot to boost its aim on stationary targets. It must be stressed however that the tank's large tracks are only for show and it is road bound and is restricted to all of its limitations and weaknesses.
