The Hyper-Wave Decoder is the ultimate scanning device. While scanning, it detects any ufo and it lets you know the ufo type, crew race, the mission, and its dwestination on the planet.
You only need one at the base, and you can dismantel any other radar types, since these are now redundant. They also pick up every UFO that enters its scanning radius.
