General Information
After research into the Molecular Control implants used by the aliens is completed, this facility can be researched. By generating and feeding false M.C. data into the alien's implants, the M.C. Generator reduces the chance that the aliens can detect your base by steering them into incorrect search patterns. This lessens the need for other Base Defense Measures.
It does not prevent aliens from attacking you, only from finding you in the first place. Once an enemy group has discovered you, they will regularly launch attacks against your base until you defeat them in tactical combat - the Generator is useless during this time.
This base facility appears in Terror from the Deep. For the UFO: Enemy Unknown equivalent, refer to the Mind Shield.
