Chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO, this battle rifle was a mainstay of the US military's arsenal at the time the game takes place.

This rapid-fire gun will be your friend for many of the early missions, with a fair accuracy and decently stable shooting, and moderate rate of damage.
It can be first acquired in Groom Range, shortly after getting your first squadmate, directly after the cutscene of the Gunship blasting the staircase. Default gun of Commandos.
