You know, if the boot could be considered a weapon, it would be lethal to these creatures. They are pretty much piles of goo, which are found in the blood stream of all the other aliens. If you want to know why, go look at [[The Real Alien Threat (Apocalypse)|The Real Alien Threat]]. I won't spoil it. Anyway, these are probably my fourth most disliked unit of the game, aside from the [[Popper (Apocalypse)|Popper]], [[Megaspawn (Apocalypse)|Megaspawn]], and the [[Psimorph (Apocalypse)|Psimorph]]. These also have psionic abilities, but it's PATHETIC. They couldn't mind control a fly. But if you leave them alone for a long enough time, they CAN and WILL mind control your troops. They just need time. Which they don't have if you are even half the competent commander you should be by the time these guys show up.

They aren't very antagonistic in this form however, since they have low movement, no physical attacks and not particularly effective psionic attacks. Not to be ignored though, since they will get mind controls off with enough tries.
  
To Capture: If you want (which you should) to capture a Micronoid Aggregate alive, then you need to use a stun grapple. After eliminating everyone except the Micronoid Aggregates in the level, send in three robots with stun grapples. Most likely they will get at least one without killing it. Pretty useful.

You know, if the boot could be considered a weapon, it would be lethal to these creatures. They are pretty much piles of goo made up of psionic micro-organisms. These are the true antagonists of the game, for why see The Real Alien Threat.
