Upgrades

S.C.O.P.E. Upgrade

The portable targeting module called 'S.C.O.P.E.' could be upgraded to highlight sensitive points onthe enemy targets. We beleive that the chance of critical shots would increase accordingly.

Tips & Tricks

  • Getting a SCOPE on each of your soldiers is essential after it first becomes available. At this point (since you're early in the game), the base aim stat for your troops will be low enough that the +10 aim bonus is going to make a huge difference to their ability to hit.
  • Don't bother putting this on shotgun-using assaults.
  • Pair this with a Light Plasma Rifle to get nearly guaranteed hits (+20 Aim)
  • Once snipers hit Colonel rank, their base aim will have reached 105, so you can pull off the SCOPE and replace it with Chitin Plating for an HP boost.
