These are ammunition for the alien Small Launcher weapon. It is powered by Elerium, and needs 1 unit of it to be created.

An extremely useful weapon, this is capable of taking down ALL aliens except for the Zombie. It explodes with a visual effect of a cloud of purple "Stun Gas". (for game mechanics, it is an explosion that does stun damage instead) If used in close quarter combat, you may accidentally stun your own troops, but you won't kill them. HWP's and Zombies are invulnerable.
