** At least with the [[XCOM: Enemy Within DLC (EU2012)|Enemy Within DLC]], that's no longer true. You may get abduction missions even for countries with satellite coverage. The only way to stop abductions is to have coverage over all possible nations (i.e. excluding nations that have left the XCOM project).

If you launch your satellites mid month then abductions can still happen in those countries at the end of the month because all abductions and missions are organised at the beginning of the month. This method you stated not to work does still work because I covered all but three countries in Europe and only got abductions in those three.

Also can someone test the panic levels for when you get two counties on the same continent and one on another and you choose the lonesome county.--Ditto51 05:25, 8 December 2013 (EST)

It is as Ditto says: like before, on EW you can still get abductions on that country during the month the sat was launched (thus you should only launch sats at the end of the month). On the following months you'll never get abductions on that country again as long as the sat remains. Hobbes 09:46, 8 December 2013 (EST)
