Looking at the table above, I find it very odd that Alien Re-animation Zones are only $100, whereas all other items are in the thousands. Furthermore, in the original XCOM the lowest priced UFO recovery component is $5k -- this leads me to believe that this might have been a typo like the Dye Grenade, and should be $10k, or at the very least $1k.

I mean, 100 bucks for alien tech? Really? At today's purchasing power equivalent of 1994 that would be $175, which is totally accessible to the general population. --1eyedking (talk) 11:48, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

:It's not a typo. At least, not directly. TFTD's Alien Re-animation Zone is UFO's Alien Habitat, which was set to $100 as it was dummied out and thus its value was irrelevant. TFTD's designers just didn't bother to fix the price (or to add a UFOpaedia entry for it). Magic9mushroom (talk) 08:07, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

::Just checked the original's Alien Habitat, so yeah, definitely not a typo. Like you said, it's lazy devs not updating a placeholder value. —1eyedking (talk) 18:19, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

Looking at the table above, I find it very odd that Alien Re-animation Zones are only $100, whereas all other items are in the thousands. Furthermore, in the original XCOM the lowest priced UFO recovery component is $5k—this leads me to believe that this might have been a typo like the Dye Grenade, and should be $10k, or at the very least $1k.

I mean, 100 bucks for alien tech? Really? At today's purchasing power equivalent of 1994 that would be $175, which is totally accessible to the general population. —1eyedking (talk) 11:48, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

It's not a typo.
