Does anyone know what "MC Security" stands for? During the into video of the game it is being used several times but not mentioned in the background story of the games manual: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xri57CnuZ1E

I haven't found out what the "MC" stands for. In the German Version of the game it is called "MK-Sicherheitsdienst" the last word translating into "security service/agency". Neither "MK" nor "MC" allow much for guessing its meaning.

Mega-Prime Command Security sounds kind of wrong and the German equivalent to it (M-P Kommando-Sicherheitsdienst) even more. Anyone got a guess what "MC" could stand for? Bard (talk) 16:39, 27 August 2019 (CEST)

My suspicion is that it's a front company for X-Com, as the manual mentions that X-Com is operating covertly. MC could stand for "mega-city", but it could also just be arbitrarily assigned. Magic9mushroom (talk) 04:10, 28 August 2019 (CEST)
