I know the damage is only listed as 98, but I've seen it do over 200 damage in one shot. I believe the 98 is for the main missile, and the submunitions add up to substantially more than that; Wong's FAQ, though not always accurate, says they do 65 each. Has anyone else observed this? : 98 is definitely the main missile. I'm thinking here the reasoning is that with a larger UFO, assuming a standard interception with the AI moving your ships right up next to the UFO, the missiles would not have enough time to split before they strike. In that case only the main missile damage is done. There may be an optimum range that is required for you to get the best out of this launcher. 98 is definitely the main missile.
