: One to Two can always spawn directly on its corpse depending on if it occupies one or two tiles, as you can't stand on it while its alive, but any other occupied space will not spawn a Hyperworm. There is also a small chance of it not spawning anything upon death, regardless which weapon you use or how many tiles are free. If I recall correctly, Hyperworms don't spawn if there are no free unit slots, or no free spaces near the Multiworm's body, right? Darkpast (talk) 22:06, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

One to Two can always spawn directly on its corpse depending on if it occupies one or two tiles, as you can't stand on it while its alive, but any other occupied space will not spawn a Hyperworm. There is also a small chance of it not spawning anything upon death, regardless which weapon you use or how many tiles are free. Bard (talk) 01:29, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
The chance of it not spawning anything is because there might not be free unit slots (dead units still take up unit slots in Apoc). It usually happens in missions with large numbers of civilians. Also, you can stand on a Multiworm while it's alive if it's stunned. Magic9mushroom (talk) 06:00, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
