Please let the contents of "Greetings" message remain intact, correct if there are spelling errors.

I intended it as a semi brain-washing message from the 13 Senators, probably of the dream of Illuminati,a Brave New Eorld with bleating sheep-alike men, minorities who can be exploited all the time(probably these greasy jerks would LOVE underage, underpaid Half-Sectoid escort girls),and with poor mining people who are exploited mercilessly by Sol-Mine

Being the one who made the first draft of the greetings - I'm all for it.

My original intention was to see it from a 'touristy' perspective such as being read verbatim off a card by an overly cheerful tour guide as they're entering the city.

However I made a different approach to other subjects. As we all know, the City is a technocratic prison in some sense, making us wonder why the leaders of the World didn't extend the range of the Athmospheric Regulators beyond the city,or ostracized the half-sectoid people.

There are two parties,Technocrats and Extropians, resembling Democrats and Republicans.

Everyone should get the clues after doing research about the Illuminati Order.--X-COM:Turcocalypse 08:09, 16 April 2006 (PDT)

After all this time, I feel like reverting back to the cheery touristy blurb. Feels like we've drifted onto overly serious sci-fi novel territory here. -NKF 22:48, 12 February 2009 (CST)

Is the Senate a group which falls under Firms, Companies, Collectives, or is this just lumped in the Government section? --Zombie 21:25, 12 February 2009 (CST)

Firms, Companies, Collectives was just a flavourful way of describing most of the significant groups in the city. "Organizations", which I think is the term used in the game, would probably be a better word to encompass the private companies and government. -NKF 22:48, 12 February 2009 (CST)
