When I was watching a Interceptor chase after a UFO I noticed it seemed to adjust its path every 5 minutes. - I have not observed anything not explainable by the already-documented algorithm (great-circle until target latitude, then follow latitude).
- Note that great circles take some practice with before they become intuitive. They're not Euclidean plane straight lines, so they do "adjust" compared to a simple straight line.

What are the flight patterns of UFOs engaged in Infiltration missions?--Ethereal Cereal 21:47, 25 April 2008 (PDT)
- I haven't forced that mission type in to study yet. At such time as I resume playing UFO, I'll probably force it for the next game month. -- Zaimoni 7:39, 26 April 2008 (CDT)
