Why is this page a Template? I can't really get it though my head in the current way it is used. --Kokkan 14:20, 18 September 2012 (EDT)
- When the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem start to look like a nail! Actually, this was one of the earliest templates to be experimented with on this wiki. I think it was turned into a template because Transcluding a page had the problem that its contents wouldn't always update when the source page is updated until you force a page refresh, but changes to a template would show up immediately. Also I think there was some plans for some clever use of include and noinclude blocks but it's never really been updated all that often. -NKF 01:28, 19 September 2012 (EDT)
