I loved XCOM in the mid 1990s, and came back to it in mid 2005. A truly great game that works many simple but effective concepts together, to make a really cool overall experience. Including the music, of course! I hope someone can match it now, 10 years later, laugh... I'll be looking into XCOMUFO.COM's Project Xenocide once I get my fill of the original - AGAIN!

There's a quip about people with Ph.Ds.: they study more and more, about a more and more focussed topic, until finally they know everything there is to know, about nothing at all. lol

Typical long winded dork

I loved XCOM in the mid 1990s, and came back to it in mid 2005. A truly great game that works many simple but effective concepts together, to make a really cool overall experience. Including the music, of course! I hope someone can match it now, 13 years later, laugh.

Anybody who has followed (Recent) Changes to watch what I edit, knows I think way too much about way too little. Same problem on my talk page. There's a quip about people with Ph.Ds.: they study more and more, about a more and more focussed topic, until finally they know everything there is to know, about nothing at all. lol
