Introduction

I have made thousands of edits on wikipedia's such as The Vault, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dragon Age: Origins, etc under the name Mictlantecuhtli. I am also an administrator of the Age of Empires wiki, recently UFO Defense has become my most played game so I am probably going to be making edits on it until Enemy Unknown is released in October. When the new game comes out, I am going to try to afford it and start working on the multiplayer aspect of the game if it has a ranking system.

Play style

So far my favorite weapons in UFO Defense are the explosives and psionics (eat that grenade, eat it!), particularly the Alien Grenade and Blaster Launcher. The former because I valiantly defended a new base against an Ethereal and Sectopod invasion using only two tanks (cannon) and eight unarmed soldiers who picked up dead Ethereal weapons. The first soldier to make it to one of the corpses grabbed the grenade, armed it for 0 seconds and threw it into a group of three Ethereals and killed them en masse while leaving the weapons intact for the unarmed soldiers to grab. Since then I have developed a love affair with alien grenades, despite the outbreak of space herpes which resulted from the alien incursion.

I have a habit of ignoring UFO's entirely if I am nearing completion of Cydonia or Bust, since the desire to run away from this evil planet is so overwhelming in my real life. I imagine being the commander of X-COM as a stepping stone on the way to escaping this planet and starting over on a new one. After all, following an alien invasion such as the one portrayed in the game the nations would soon begin fighting over the rights to the base, the Elerium-115, etc. Imagine if a truly neutral force such as X-COM seceded from the Earth to keep the petty world from destroying itself. Leave behind self destruct devices at the X-COM bases, purge the networks with aggressive computer viruses and assassinate all those within the program that are unwilling to protect the world from itself.
