Alien Submarine Assault

Explore the touchdown site and, if possible, gain entry to
the Alien Sub. The mission will be successful when all
enemy units have been eliminated or neutralised. Recovery
of the Alien Sub, artefacts and Alien corpses can then be
initiated.

In fact this type mission is more hazardous than Alien Sub Crash Recovery missions, and 'Extreme Caution' is even more called for. As the Alien Sub is undamaged, there will be more aliens, in better health. Entry to their fully intact craft will be more difficult and more dangerous.

On the other hand, the potential rewards for success are correspondingly greater.
