Base Layouts (Apocalypse)

The Base Layout is one of the most important factors in a base since it will determine where additional base modules can be built and will also impact the Battlescape layout during Base Defense missions.

The type and number of base layouts available depend on the difficulty level.

	28	Novice Easy
	24	Novice
	36	Novice Medium
	29	Novice Medium Superhuman	This layout allows for cheap base defense, provided you don't need a Vehicle Bay, since it is only necessary to place 2 Security Stations at each side of the Access Lift. It is possible to have up to 4 advanced research/manufacturing facilities with plenty of additional space for 1x1 modules.
	32	Novice Medium Hard Superhuman
	24	Easy
	28	Easy Hard
	22	Easy Hard Superhuman
	22	Easy Medium Superhuman	Another easy defendable layout. Stick one Security Station right next to the lift. The Vehicle Bay can be on either one of the 2x2 spaces up and below the central area, with 2 Security Stations right next to it.
