Defence is useless dude. I bet you don't have Bombardment Shield, which means building enough defences is quite impractical.

I wish base defences were more like Xcom Apocalypse... then again, those were TOO good. Jasonred

He's right, don't buy Defence modules, just arrange your base for a good Base Defense and make sure you have the right troops and weapons for the job. If you survive you will get lots of booty! Spike 17:50, 5 April 2009 (EDT)

It's possible Glimmerang was talking about bolstering the interior defenses, rather than the base modules. However I will concur - defences won't stop the attack as it'll just keep resetting the Dreadnaught to attack the base until one breaks through. The only time you would probably want impenetrable base defences is if you are scrambling to reorganize the base for the battle and they're not ready yet. -NKF 01:41, 6 April 2009 (EDT)
