The Airguard Anti-Air Cannon is a variant of the 40mm Auto Cannon Turret and enjoys all the benefits and weaknesses offered by the 40mm cannons.
The Airguard is supposedly an upgrade of the 40mm cannon turret, featuring a 20% greater attack range and dealing 2 more damage per bullet. Unfortunately it has a reduced rate of fire; the fire delay is triple that of the 40mm Turret, the shots travel at 75% the speed of the Turret's shots, and it is only marginally more accurate. Overall, this often results in the 40mm Turret performing better than the Airguard in actual practice.
The Airguard Anti-Air Cannon is a standard issue mount on all new Stormdogs.
