General Information

The missile defences module provide the base with a missile silo that can launch a single rocket at an incoming retaliator Battleship.

Individually, the missiles don't do much damage, but the missile defence module is the cheapest and fastest defence module that can be produced. It has the lowest defenec module upkeep cost.

If there's space, a battery of Missile Defences modules coupled with a Grav Shield can cause a signficant amount of damage to a battleship, with a possibility of obtaining a greater chance of hit success than a single Fusion or Plasma defence module. However, a large battery of missile defence modules can unnecessarily increase the size of the base.

An additional benefit provided by the Missile Defences module is a unique lower level floor pan.
