thank goodness I ASKED this time instead of going straight to deletion!!! ... I thought that you meant that they can't get out of the gate and wreck the city. My bad. [[User:Jasonred79|Jasonred79]] ([[User talk:Jasonred79|talk]]) 05:33, 19 April 2022 (CEST)

Blocking the Dimension Gates

I can't get this to work. Anyone have any luck doing so? It seems to me that, just before the aliens arrive, the dimension gates will move to a different spot. Thus, barricading their OLD location seems useless, since the alien ships will spawn somewhere else.

I feel like the post is a fake tip, and I'm tempted to delete it.

No, its works and it is my prefered tactic to shoot down an Escort Ship before it speeds away to escape. Correct:

"...the dimension gates will move to a different spot."

exactly why i wrote:
"...gate so nothing can escape..." "..the (trying to) escaping UFO quickly..."

escape: means that is already is present in the cityscape and you are going to block the gate to prevent escape of the craft.
