I'm thinking of reworking the description to be a bit less positive, as literally all of the Mega-Primus weapons actually have better DPS than the Disruptor Gun (due to the latter's awful accuracy and mediocre RoF). Regarding "damage upgrade"
I'm thinking of reworking the description to be a bit less positive, as literally all of the Mega-Primus weapons actually have better DPS than the Disruptor Gun (due to the latter's awful accuracy and mediocre RoF). The advantage of the Disruptor Gun is more about easy dual-wielding and convenience of a standard loadout than its effectiveness as a weapon. Any objections? - You also don't need to worry about ammunition. For playthroughs were you become and stay hostile with Megapol and Marsec, it becomes pretty much mandatory.
- It's also an alternative to use for Hybrids over the Plasma Gun in combination with a Mind Bender to avoid overencumberance.
- However, the usefulness of most weapons also depends on if you play Real Time or Turn Based as well. So I feel like pros/cons should be divided for each mode and the general description just try and cover what is relevant to both modes. This counts for all weapons though, which is quite a lot of articles to work though. Bard (talk) 03:42, 18 October 2019 (CEST)
Well, that does have to do with the "easy dual-wielding", as both the Lawpistol and Plasma Gun have awful ammunition availability. But the point's taken.
I'll probably revamp it in a bit. Magic9mushroom (talk) 10:27, 18 October 2019 (CEST)
One-handed?
I don't think these guns are in fact one-handed at all. I just looked at the accuracy display for dual-wielding and single-wielding Disruptor Guns and it's clearly different. Magic9mushroom (talk) 14:57, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
"When disruptor weapons are destroyed by explosion or fire they usually discharge a couple of shots in random directions"
I think this is true for most or all weapons - I've seen both a Plasma Gun and an Autocannon do this. Darkpast (talk) 14:02, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
