Template talk:Vehicle Equipment (Apocalypse) Navbar

Hello there. :)

I had thought before of creating a navbar for Vehicle Items (Weapons, Engines and Equipment) but I think it would get too big, even without using the images.

Plus there aren't icon images for the Engines and Equipment like those for the Vehicles and Weapons, it would be necessary to create them using the inventory images. And the icon images for Weapons would have to be edited to remove the grey boxes, to keep them with the same style as the images on the Vehicles navbar.

So, what I'd propose is that there isn't a Vehicle Equipment navbar but to add a new row to the bottom of the Vehicles navbar called Items, which would have 3 categories listed: Vehicle Weapons, Vehicle Engines and Vehicle Equipment. And we could use the work you already started here to make tables for those 3 pages to better present and organize the links to the individual items. Hobbes 12:15, 21 January 2010 (EST)

Hi! That sounds like a much better idea than the one of going through and editing old icons/making new ones that I was orignally going with. I had also been cautious of messing with any of the established templates,so opted to try to make one myself. Ugly as sin though. I've already got most of the Vehicle Equipment UFOPaedia pictures I think (if not, easy to get), so I'll probably occupy my time with that for now. Sunflash 13:41, 21 January 2010 (EST)

Yeah, I had also considered making new icons but it was a lot of work and there were more important things to finish at the moment. Good try on the navbar, practice will make it better :)
