The ADVENT Sentry is a trooper variant with higher damage and specialization in overwatch. They are like the marksman of the ADVENT, boasting greater accuracy and detection than the other basic trooper variants.
With their base ability Ready For Anything, the Sentry is able to shoot and enter overwatch in the same turn, making them a constant danger throughout the battle. As they improve, their overwatch capabilities further improves making them a more persistent threat if not addressed.

Tips
- Like most flankable units, they will ideally try to find reasonable cover whenever flanked. This can be taken advantage of if you want to force enemies to move.
- Their detection radius are higher than most trooper variants so it is best to be wary of spots that may hide them such as dark corners in order to not get surprised yourself.
- The main threat of Advent Sentries is their ability to take a shot and then enter overwatch granting them great action economy very early and throughout the rest of the campaign. The best way to mitigate this ability is to have methods that remove overwatch which there are many of. Some examples are flashbangs, Lightning Reflexes, or simply damaging them (this option becomes more limited as the campaign progresses due to their Covering Fire)
