There's only one queen, but eventually another queen is born from the ranks (fed on royal jelly, or the Multiworm equivalent), and either leaves with some workers, drones, warriors, etc to establish a new colony, or if that is not an option, then it fights to the death with the old queen. I think it's like bees and ants. There's only one queen, but eventually another queen is born from the ranks (fed on royal jelly, or the Multiworm equivalent), and either leaves with some workers, drones, warriors, etc to establish a new colony, or if that is not an option, then it fights to the death with the old queen.
