Can SHIVs save civilians--Ditto51 02:30, 28 September 2013 (EDT)

So far, I can confirm Hover SHIVs and Alloy SHIVs can rescue civilians on Terror missions. I wasn't able to reach a civvie in time with standard SHIV. Still waiting for Bomb Disposal mission to pop up. --DracoGriffin 21:46, 9 October 2013 (EDT)
Confirming all SHIV types can disarm Bomb Nodes and actual Bomb (savescummed to test each SHIV type could deactivate singular bomb). --DracoGriffin 18:36, 10 October 2013 (EDT)

SHIV Aim bonus

I think the aim bonus for each type of SHIV(listed as a static +25 on this page) only applies if one researches the improved SHIV weapons. When I produce a basic SHIV with no weapon upgrades, they only have the base 70 Aim score. Arrow Quivershaft 22:52, 7 December 2013 (EST)

The Laser/Plasma upgrades? I didn't even noticed before that they gave Aim bonuses. Maybe that Aim bonus is completely incorrect? Hobbes 09:59, 8 December 2013 (EST)

Healing SHIVs on tactical missions

Does a SHIV damaged, and then healed back up to full during a tactical mission need Repair time? We know that soldiers do, that a Medikit only applies for the mission duration, but we should figure out how it works with SHIVs. As far as I see it, there's three combinations: SHIV healed to full with Arc Thrower, SHIV healed to full with Sentinel Drone, and SHIV healed to full with a combination. Possibly more if Drones can be used to heal SHIVs. Arrow Quivershaft 00:35, 8 December 2013 (EST)

All three require one day of repair time. I haven't tested Drone repair time as it tends to be a bit difficult to hack drones without them being killed in cross fire or collateral damage. Funny thing was my hover SHIV had healed almost to full, just two bars left but my Alloy SHIV was fully healed. Both had same repair times. Just like in real life, mechanics saying there's always something broken. :P--DracoGriffin 03:19, 14 December 2013 (EST)
