The teleporter is quite possibly one of the most useful, albeit elusive, items of the game. With this item, you can make the aliens literally blow each other up instead of you, get out of the way of an Entropy or Dimension Missile at the last second, and even flank the enemy units and squash them with out them even knowing what hit them. This does make the game much easier, though, and, in skilled hands, can be the most powerful device in the game. If you get one of these, I suggest that you manufacture at least two of them for each soldier. It slowly recharges.
